Description

The SIM800L V2.0 GSM GPRS Module is a compact wireless communication board based on the SIM800L chipset. It supports GSM and GPRS communication over four frequency bands, allowing it to work with most 2G mobile networks worldwide. This module can send and receive SMS messages, make voice calls, and connect to the internet using GPRS. It is widely used in Arduino and ESP32 projects such as remote monitoring systems, GPS trackers, smart home devices, SMS alerts, IoT applications, and wireless automation. The V2.0 version includes an onboard voltage regulator, allowing the module to be powered from a 5V supply while internally supplying the SIM800L with the required lower voltage.
